Hawkesbury Artists Trail
This year's Hawkesbury Art and Artisans Trail is coming up again at the end of August
This year as well as having the six resident artists at the Piggery we will be joined by some of the artists from the Hawkesbury Community Arts Workshop with their pottery and other crafts. We plan to have displays inside and outside the Piggery.
Our Neighbours at the Hawkesbury Earthcare Centre have been working hard on getting their grounds and gardens in good shape for spring and will be open for visitors as well.

HAWKESBURY ART FAIR
The Hawkesbury Art Fair is on again. The annual event for displaying and selling art by local artists was opened on Friday night 23rd September and will run until 23rd October. It is professionally curated and superbly hung and as usual it looks fabulous!
The Piggery was represented by works from Kym Morris, Sharron Whittington and Malcolm Robertson.
OPENING AGAIN
The Hawkesbury Artists Trail this year was a success, we had a constant flow of visitors on the Saturday and Sunday, lots of conversations with people who were interested in, and enjoyed Art, and a number of sales too! the weather was good, and the Earthcare Centre was also open and selling scones and toasted sandwiches.
We have decided it is time to open the Piggery on a regular basis every first Saturday of the month on a social basis with no particular organised activity, and the Earthcare Centre is also open on Saturdays.

WE WERE OPEN!
Its been about 2 1/2 years but the Piggery Lane Studios were finally open again for the 2022 'Hawkesbury Artist and Artisans Trail'!
We has some new signs to clearly indicate where we are, the weather was fine both days and we had lots of visitors. The 'Hawkesbury Earthcare Centre' who we share the corner block with, opened at the same time, and sold soup, toasted sandwiches as well as their unique seeds and produce, it was a great collaboration and a really good weekend.
We plan to open next Saturday as well. The 'Secret Garden Spring Fair' is scheduled to be on if the weather is fine... and we may gain some extra visitors from that.

Hawkesbury Art Fair 2021
It was touch and go, but the vaccination rates rose and the Covid cases declined, and a late decision was made to run the Hawkesbury Art Fair again this year. Not much time to prepare and more restrictions in place this time, but the exhibition did open on Monday 8th November at the Hawkesbury Regional Gallery, the Deerrubbin Centre in Windsor, and will run until 5th December.
The Piggery Lane Studios were represented this time by Shelley Whittington, Malcolm Robertson, .Jenny LLoyd ,Kym Morris and Sharron Whittington, and the artists and works selected were at the discretion of the Regional Gallery.
