PIGGERY LANE STUDIO

In the early 1900's 'The Piggery' & 'Piggery Lane' were an important and active part of the Hawkesbury Agricultural College. In recent times the renamed building 'D9' on 'Campus Drive' at Western Sydney University, Richmond NSW. 'THE PIGGERY' is now part of the Hawkesbury Community Arts Workshop and has become the Working Studios and Gallery’s of six artists. Earthcare open day

The Piggery Lane Studios were open on Sunday when our Earthcare neighbours had a community gardening meeting with Costa Georgiadis.as the main speaker, I listened in on a number of talks about what is going on in the world of the environment, sustainable gardening, social responsibility, effects on society and health etc... a great day weatherwise and a number of visitors were able to share in our contribution to society through the world of the arts.
