Last weekend the Piggery Lane Studios were open in conjunction with the 'Secret Garden Spring Fair' on the Saturday, and on the Sunday with the Earthcare 'Sustainable House Day' and we had a number of visitors.
This weekend 19th September we are hosting the Hawkesbury Community Arts Workshop Annual Exhibition, which will be formally opened by The Hon.Dominic Perrottet MP at 5pm.
The studios will be open from 10 am -7pm and on Sunday 10am - 4pm.
In the early 1900's 'The Piggery' & 'Piggery Lane' were an important and active part of the Hawkesbury Agricultural College. In recent times the renamed building 'D9' on 'Campus Drive' at Western Sydney University, Richmond NSW. 'THE PIGGERY' is now part of the Hawkesbury Community Arts Workshop and has become the Working Studios and Gallery’s of six artists. Information on open days, workshops, and events will be made available on the Blog.

HAWKESBURY ART FAIR 2015
The Hawkesbury Art Fair is now an annual event. The official opening on the 29th of June this year at the Hawkesbury Regional Gallery was well attended and there are eceptional displays from various groups and individual artists.
The Fair will be open to the public until the 14th of June.
The Piggery this year is represented by Jenny Lloyd, Dorothea Finger and Malcolm Robertson
