In the early 1900's 'The Piggery' & 'Piggery Lane' were an important and active part of the Hawkesbury Agricultural College. In recent times the renamed building 'D9' on 'Campus Drive' at Western Sydney University, Richmond NSW. 'THE PIGGERY' is now part of the Hawkesbury Community Arts Workshop and has become the Working Studios and Gallery’s of six artists.
