The Hawkesbury Artists and Artisans trail weekend was Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th August.
The Piggery Lane Gallery & Studios were open 10-4 as a part of the trail and had a number of visitors passing through and enjoying the heritage building and artworks

Peter Christian from "time'n motion pictures" took some extensive live footage of some of the Studios/Gallery and Artists as a part of his ongoing project of filming local old buildings and their current uses... it will be interesting to see if this finishes up as part of a completed work somewhere!

In the early 1900's 'The Piggery' & 'Piggery Lane' were an important and active part of the Hawkesbury Agricultural College. In recent times the renamed building 'D9' on 'Campus Drive' at Western Sydney University, Richmond NSW. 'THE PIGGERY' is now part of the Hawkesbury Community Arts Workshop and has become the Working Studios and Gallery’s of six artists. Information on open days, workshops, and events will be made available on the Blog.
